Why We Exist
Faith Matters in Democracy
Many people of faith feel unseen in public life. Fear often sets the tone in politics, and the assumption that all people of faith think alike pushes compassion and steady reasoning aside. Indiana Faith Voices for Justice exists to change that by giving people of faith the space to speak with clarity, dignity, and courage. Our democracy is strongest when faithful voices bring steadiness and moral conviction into civic life.
We help congregations and individuals understand:
How civic engagement works.
How advocacy movements grow.
Understanding how a bill becomes law in Indiana.
Knowing who makes the decisions at each step and how to reach them.
Keeping the focus on what strengthens communities and promotes fairness.
Our Vision
Indiana Faith Voices for Justice is a growing, multi-faith, multi-cultural, and multi-racial movement committed to democracy, not theocracy. Freedom, not extremism. Education, not indoctrination.
We connect people of faith across Indiana to learn, organize, and act with civic responsibility. Our goal is a statewide network that strengthens communities and protects the well-being of every neighbor.

What People Are Saying
Faith should never be used to divide. IFVFJ reminds us that love is public, and that when people of faith stand together with open hearts, we create space where everyone feels seen and valued.
